Automatic Stainless Steel Cone Roller
Simplify your cone-rolling technique with CoBatCo's new Stainless
Steel Cone Mandrel. Roll fresh-baked waffle cones with
ease! No more leaks, no "warm" fingertips, no more
broken or unappealing cones. Our new mandrel, item SSCM-01,
helps you roll fresh-baked waffle cones that are uniform in
shape.
The SSCM-01 consists of two pieces - a stainless steel tray and
an aluminum cone roller mold (figure 1). The stainless steel
tray lies flat on your countertop. For added convenience, a
front panel or lip fits over the edge of the countertop to prevent
the tray from slipping. The right side of the tray has a
conical form that holds the waffle as it is being rolled. The
aluminum cone roller is scored with rows of rough-edged bands that
grip the waffle so it won't slip while it's being
rolled.
To make cones with the Stainless Steel Cone Mandrel, follow these
steps, which are illustrated to the right:
1. Take a freshly-baked CoBatCo waffle cone off the baker and
slide it under the conical opening on the tray (figure 2).
2. Insert the cone roller into the opening, on top of the
waffle, and (figure 3).
3. Turn the roller counterclockwise (figure 4).
4. Roll the cone quickly, applying pressure to the shape as
needed. Remove the cone roller and cone gently. Take the
cone off the mold (figure 5) and place the cone into a cooling rack
or display case.
The result is a tightly rolled, uniformly shaped fresh waffle
cone that is stackable and virtually leak-proof.
